I’ve never met a glass tile that I didn’t like. Major visual interest, multiple ‘layers’ thanks to the color, sheen, and grid pattern… I’m nuts for the stuff, no matter the room.

Yes!! I looove glass tile – I’m working with a client now who needs a back splash in his kitchen. And you better believe I’ll be spec-ing some glass!
OMG… I’m literally drooling over the last bathroom… *sigh* That clawfoot tub is to dye for and the green glass tiles are absolutely awe-inspiring…
SO glamorous they are. A friend of mine; her father owns a mirror and glass company, and I always beg for the leftovers.
I need friends like that!
I love the stuff too! In fact I recently saw a blog post from another designer saying that its over used and said she thought it was out of style. I disagreed. I think it it like carrera marble, it is a classic. Glass adds texture, sparkle, and dimension. Not to mention a little “pow” factor! haha

Totally agree! I think certain colors/mixes may go in and out of vogue, but the material itself is too good to let go of!
